Lovett’s Nail Technician School Course

As a preeminent nail technician school, Lovett Beauty School offers a 525-hour nail technician course designed to meet the educational requirements students need to pass the Georgia’s State Board of Cosmetology examination.

​

The tuition for this nail technician course is $2,000. Students have an opportunity to pay the tuition over four payments or, if they prefer, they can make a one-time $1,800 payment.

​

The curriculum for the coursework offered by Lovett’s nail school is as follows –

• Health & safety in the industry.

• Introduction to science.

• Industry concepts.

• Manicure Techniques/theory.

• Pedicure Techniques/theory.

• Advanced nail school techniques that include –

  • Gel Color.

  • Dipping Acrylic Powder.

  • Artificial Nail Art.

  • Advanced Nail Art, among others.

Students attending the nail technician course can complete the certificate program in about 4 to 4 ½ months if attending classes based on a 35-hour class schedule each week. Students attending classes at night (generally from 430 PM to 9 PM) typically complete the program in about six months.

When a student completes 525 hours of training, relevant services, and examinations, they are awarded a certificate of completion.

​

We also offer ongoing event training covering a multitude of cosmetology related workshops in permanent makeup and eyebrow micro-blading, and eyelash training, among others.

• A Cosmetology Course - this 1,500-hour course can be completed in about twelve months.

• An Esthetician Course – this 1,000-hour course can be completed in 8 to 9 months.

• A Barbering Course – this 1,500-hour course can be completed in 9 to 12 months.

• Instructor Courses – these courses vary in hours (250 - 750-hours), depending on the instructor course selected. These instructor courses are generally completed in 4 to 6 months.
